Time for a bit of light hearted reminiscing for a change.
Back in the ’80s, when the good old flame burner blow torches were in vogue, a good mate of mine (who will remain unnamed) and his crew went to start prepping and painting a cluster of Housing Corporation houses (as they were known then). Upon arrival at one of the houses they were greeted by a distressed tenant, who expressed her deep concern that she didn’t want her house set on fire like the previous contractors had done. She was reassured that this would not happen, and my mate said “we are the ‘GUNS’, we are NOT the ‘Cowboys'”. The Lady, now confident, let them proceed to start the “burning off” on her place.
