YOUR QUOTATION – DOES IT MATTER ???
ANSWER: YES IT CERTAINLY DOES !!!
From personal experience, and a hard lesson that I had, way back in 1985, I have learnt the value of getting as much accurate information about the scope of work involved in ALL of my Painting Quotes.
After having a convivial discussion with a “lovely local couple”, we all agreed that the ‘Scoped Work’ required stripping of the Weatherboards on the Northern face of the house and standard preparation to all the remaining areas of the house, along with the usual painting etc, etc………..”strip the weathered paint from the Weatherboards on the Northern Face of the house” – Not that hard to write that down specifically eh!!! – BUT I DIDN’T !!!! AND IT COST ME – because I had written on my Quote to “Strip, as discussed and agreed, the North Face of the house”….
